Richardson

Annette Richardson is a successful business woman who has played an active part in the development of strategic alliance for the United Nations Office for Partnerships. The United Nations (UN) was founded in 1945 after World War II to replace the League of Nations, to stop wars between countries, and to provide a platform for dialogue. Remaining true to its cause and its mission, Richardson has played a vital role for the organization for over the course of eight years. An impressive career spanning two decades has seen Annette accomplish the following agenda:

In 2005, Annette founded Richardson Rogers & Associates LLC, a New York and Washington, DC-based consulting firm, which counsels clients on public-private partnerships, cause marketing campaigns and resource mobilization. Prior to launching her venture, Annette was Director of International Relations for the New York City 2012 Olympic Bid Committee. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO of Vivendi Universal. As an Honorary Ambassador of the University for Peace (UPeace), Annette was awarded the 2010 Global Citizen Award and the 2010 ‘Professional Woman of the Year Award’ by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). She is a regular guest speaker and guest lecturer at US colleges and universities and is a member of the Board of the Health and Climate Foundation as well as an advisor to companies rethink and FIDO. She is also an Executive Board Member for UN Women for Peace (unwomenforpeace), a not-for-profit organization with a mission to empower women and partake in the global peace building process.
